"Where Monsters Dwell" Wednesday Nights on 95.7FM

Formerly Mike and Remy's Wednesday Nights, formerly Thursday Nights with Mike and Remy, we are now and forevermore (pending legal action) known as "Where Monsters Dwell".

A weekly radio show and podcast hosted by Mike and Remy. We cover world spanning topics such as upcoming movies, new and old comic book news, and entertainment industry info as well as local updates on entertainment coming to or residing in Fredericton, NB.

With a new name for the show comes our podcast website. Good friend of the show Jamie Brewer has developed a great little site where we can host our podcasts for all you faithful listeners who have yet been able to listen. No shows have been uploaded yet, but you should be able to listen to some by the weekend.

For those that haven't heard, we've been sponsored by Strange Adventures comic book shop. This partnership allows us to do some cool giveaways. We'll be giving away a $15 and a $10 gift certificate every week to our loyal callers. All you have to do is call and take part in the show.

We're still on Wednesday nights from 7-9 and followed immediately by FanBoy Radio "the voice of comics", out of Fort Worth, Texas. If you have never checked these guys out, please do. They've done interviews with comic industry leaders like Stan Lee, Mark Millar, Todd McFarlane, Whilce Portacio, Thomas Jane, Rosario Dawson, Alan Moore, Danny Trejo, John Romita Jr. and the list goes on and on. Check 'em out its a great hour of radio.

First of all: We are now streaming on the internet! Let's get that out of the way first. If you go to http://www.cktpradio.com, you can listen live from anywhere on earth. Short of that, if you have Rogers digital cable, we are channel 947. Oh yeah, we're also on the radio on 95.7 FM, the Wolf in Fredericton and Oromocto. This week should be a doozy as I expect a lot of callers from out of town. We'll be talking about The Incredible Hulk DVD, Zack Snyder ruining the ending of Watchmen, all sorts of other pop culture crap including comics and movies and we'll be doing our regular prize winning features like Beat the Geek and Sub or Flub which is really becoming popular in Saint John.
So tune, click and ... channel change over to WMD this Wednesday night.

OOooooooohhhhh, spooky Hallowe'en episode. OOOooohhhh, do you dare tune in this Thursday night or are you too afraid?
Scary stuff, eh, kids? Tune in for this special Thursday episode of Fredericton's premier pop culture radio broadcast as we tell scary stories with flashlights under our chins (you won't get the visual effect, but we'll make our voices extra creepy to compensate). We'll also be giving away some scary gift certificates that you can use at the very eerie Strange Adventures Comic Shop.
