Now for some really sad news. Willy B's younger brother Stephen passed away Feb 7, 2009. Stephen was a huge part of the Independents' history. "If it wasn't for Stephen, there wouldn't be an Independents!", Evil Presly has said. "He was one of my best friends growing up and he was the one who introduced Willy B and I. We were in many bands together and Willy B and I always tried to get him to pick the drums back up and join us." Alot of you very well might have met Stephen as he did tour with the band on and off a bit selling merch and holding down the after parties with Willy and Evil. Willy B would like to thank everyone who sent emails, cards and who have called with their condolences.
Stephen will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
