The Independents are coming to Norway February 2nd, but I can't go.  

The bar they're playing at has an age limit of 21!

Enchanted Purple: They are coming to Jersey on 5/4. Wouldn't mind an NY or CT date though (Preferably NY for me)...the more I see them the better!

I hope they come to Norway some other time too, or maybe I visit the US before that

Haveing my vacation in the US, and seeing the Independents would be the best one ever!!

 

I hate this bar for having their strict strict rules!!

I've known the Independents boys for around 10 years now, since the "Stalker E.P." days. I first met them at the Brass Mug in Florida when they were touring with Bobby Steel and the Undead. After the show, some redneck started shooting their van with a pistol. I ran outside, pulled out my switchblade, and told the guy that if he "shot that ****in' gun one more time, I'd slit his ****in' throat!". After we chased the guy off, Evil looked at me and said, "You just took a knife to a gunfight! I ****in' love you man!". We've been friends since that night and have gotten into too many adventures on the road to mention. I hope the fun has just begun!

Ummm, I think 6 times....and i have hosted 3 shows.

And PS....Id shoot at Evil....he kept feeding me Jager-bombs in the back of his van.

The first time I saw them live was either in '96 or '97, I forget, but it was at CBGB back when they still had the keys live and Bobby Steele played Undead songs afterwards.

I have seen them 4-5 after that, always a great show, it's always a pleasure to chill w/ Evil and the guys, good times.
