Pony's a really nice person. I met her when she came up to NY for the Joey Ramone Birthday Bash last May. Unfortunately, my grandmother's b-day bash was the next day (she and Joey share a birthday), so I wasn't able to hang out with her while she was in the city.
I hope I get to go to the Joey bash some time, that would be really cool! And meet up with Pony You're right, she's really cool, but so are you, you know

Wow - a topic of ... Me?...?... Ha, thanks JRr! Yah, we be all cool people! I did get to see Adele - for a few minutes outside the Joey Bash, while freezin' my arse off (ok, it was only 50 degrees in NYC but this FL girl has warm blood!) It was great to meet her, and Neil (babybongo), Jari and Stunod - er, yeah, it was nice to meet him too...lol... Oh, and I met Arturo too! Whadda nite... Next time ddfad, you and I have got to make plans together for in the city, 'k? We had an awesome time on our own, but it would have been nice to have a) another female around, b) an adult to hit shows with, c) someone who knew their way around! We didn't do too bad on our own - did the 'tourist' thing - but I'm ready to go back and do the nightlife! And let me add this, I was getting Willy to sign JRr's CD for him and it was his idea to throw in a poster and had all the guys sign it as well - so thanks go to Willy too! JRr got a shirt, signed CD, signed poster, and a DVD with the live show! A thanks from me - and the Independents - for this board
Haha, a topic about you is nothing compared to what you did for me!
Oh cool you met Adele! And Arturo!! I wanna go to NYC too! That's cool, Willy threw in the poster. I love it, it's on my wall next to my pillow And the CD booklet, and the CD, and the DVD, and the t-shirt!!! I love it all!!!
Thanks, Pony, and The Independents!!! You all rule!

B-day Bashes are magical I'm always thinking what a night after one and I've been to four! I'm glad you made it up for this year!
I'm glad you were able to see the sights. The tourist thing is worth doing. I still do it occasionally and I've been living in New York for three years
Yeah we definately definately need to hang out next time. I want to meet you when I'm not beyond exhausted with my ears blasted out. We really do have to make plans in advance, though. My grandma shares a b-day with Joey, so, if we're lucky enough to have her around another year, sometime around the b-day bash, I am going to have family obligations on Semi-Eastern Long Island, which is almost two hours away from the city. So whatever day that is will pretty much be booked for me.
As the time draws closer, I'll keep my eye out for good local shows (with CBGB and the Continental closing, I certainly can't follow venues anymore ) and maybe we can plan to go hit one of them one night
