I've been listening to the 'fits for 18 years now and they will always be my favorite band.

I just recently had the pleasure of meeting Glenn and Doyle and it was pretty rad!! My camera broke at the show but luckily enough I had my camera phone. The pictures are bad quality but it's better than nothing.

Oh ****!

Damn you're lucky! I'd love to hear that show where Evil sang for the Misfits! That would be awesome!

Glenn was so nice, I have always heard stories that he wasn't very friendly but that's not true.

It was rad because he did a 'fits set w/ Doyle and Steve Zing was there as well. He was really nice too.... Doyle is so gentle, you would expect him to be mean but he is so sweet.

It's my understanding that Glenn isn't so nice to work with, but they treat the fans very well.  Which makes sense, without the fans, he'd have to get a regular job - heh-heh.

Oh and my personal reference here is from Danzig road crew around 1990.

One of my all-time faves as far back as 1986 when I first started going to punk shows!  I've been lucky enough to meet the guys and can now call them "friends". Over the years, I've met Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only, Doyle, Robo, Bobby Steel, Dr. Chud, Dez, and Michale Graves. I even dyed Doyle's devilock black one year on Halloween!  They truly are some great guys and I know they've been a big influence on the Independents, especially Evil and myself.

That's cool, yep I've met all of them too and hung out and talked w/ them and everything.

I don't think I could have made it through my first full round of college finals without Project 1950. Happily, at what turned out to be a cancelled Marky Spoken Word show, I got to personally thank Dez for that later and he was kind enough to sign my copy of Jari Pekka Latio's Rock in Peace that I had purchased at Wowsville Records (RIP) on the way to the venue (there's a pic of him in there).

And then, when they played Long Island right before I graduated two years later (I was on the express plan), they gave me a crucial night off from a lot of bull**** and stress that went a REALLY long way.
