I discovered you guys this summer, so I haven't been a fan for a very long time. but when I first heard The Independents, I was completely hooked, just like the Ramones, The Independents and The Ramones are (in my opinion) the two best bands that has ever excisted!

The pleasure is mine! I've been to seven shows (well six shows and the 2003 b-day Bash, so I guess you could say seven performances) over the past three years, plus I saw you perform at the Bowery Electric Fest in 2002. I have yet to be disappointed.

Looking forward to the spring! Maybe I'll actually be able to get James and Noah to a show on time...you and Willy made very favorable impressions on them. I think I posted this elsewhere on the board, but they were talking about you guys in the car on the way back and agreed that even if they didn't like your stuff, they'd come support you guys b/c they liked you so much as people. Maybe this time John will be able to make it...and ****ing drive. I think that between the four of us, he's the only one with any semblance of expertise when it comes to non-highway roads in the Baltimore/Washington area. Considering that all four of us grew up there and at least three of us have had licenses for more than four years, it's a little sad
